This office is in the frontline on the delivery of services concerning on Ecological Solid Waste Management, the protection of the environment and natural resources of the municipality.

Issuance of Solid Waste Disposal Permit at the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office

The Service

The Municipal government regularly collects segregated solid waste from business establishment and Municipal Material Recovery Facilities (MRF). However, business, schools and other establishments can avail the services of the disposal facility of the Municipality on special cases beyond the scheduled collection period of solid waste.

5. Get Solid Waste Disposal Permit After 1 working day

The Municipal government implements various laws and ordinances related to ESWM. As such, violators were apprehended should pay respective fines.

Responding to Complaints Related to Pollution/Environmental Laws, Sanitation, Nuisances and Ecological Solid Waste Management

The Municipal government receives complaint/s related to pollution, environmental laws, sanitation and nuisances, Ecological Solid Waste Management from residents and business establishment. These are referred to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office.

  1. Written complaint addressed to the Municipal Mayor, Municipal Health Officer, and MENRO.

  3. Any supporting docurnent/s and photos

The Service

The Municipal government accommodates group tour on Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) Program and site tour for all interested visitors. The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office through the different ESWM programs of the municipality.

Issuance and Monitoring of Tree Cutting Clearance for the Tree Cutting Permit

The Service

Any person or entity that wishes to cut down tree/s are required to secure a Tree Cutting Clearance from the Municipal' government as a requirement in the issuance of a Tree Cutting Permit by the Community Environment And Natural Resources Office of the DENR as required by law.

2. Submit requirements for verification
  1. Letter Request of the landowner addressed to the MENRO-DENR
  2. Barangay Certification objection in cutting the said tree/s
  3. Proof of lot ownership (e.g. land title or RPT Declaration) and most recent RPT payment receipt.
  4. Cedula/CTC
  5. Sketch of the exact location of the tree/so

3. Wait for the ocular inspection and tree documentation
  1. Sketch of the exact location of the tree/s
  2. Approved building plan from the Municipality, Engineer's application for tree cutting is related to clearing for the construction building.

4. Get Issuance or Non-Issuance of clearances to cut trees 2 minutes Engr. Henry B. Magno
5. Planting of replacement trees and actual cutting of tree/s which will be supervised by the MENRO or his authorized representative

  2. Trees to be planted (forest or fruit bearing trees)
2 hours or depending on the approved number of trees to be cut

The Service

The Municipal environment office conducts seminar on Ecological Solid Waste Management to couples applying for marriage as required by law.
