Civil Registry Services

Requesting a certified copy I certification of birth, marriage, death record and Civil Registry Documents I Requesting a certified copy I certification of birth, marriage, death record and Civil Registry Documents on Security Document (SECDOC)

About the Service

Civil registry documents such as birth, marriage and death certificates may be availed of by securing a certified transcript or photocopy from the office.

The mode of issuance of such documents may also be done in Security Document (SECDOC). A Security Document is a marked short size (8 x 11 %) paper that is being printed only by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas for official use of the National Statistics Office (NSO) in photocopying or printing registry documents. Foreign embassies require the submission of Security Papers by Visa applicants.

How to Avail of the Service

Follow these steps It will take you Please approach
  1. Client approach the EIC and request for needed Civil Registry Documents
  2. The EIC search for the requested document as to the availability of record (search is done either on the database or the registry books/archives)
  3. If record is available, EIC issues order of payment and instructs the client to pay at the Treasurer's Office
  4. EIC prepares/ the requested Civil Registry Documents
  5. EIC checks/reviews the correctness of the entries in the Civil Registry Document
  6. MCR signs the document
  7. EIC releases the document to the client
