Municipal Treasury Services

As mandated by the Local Code of 1991, the Office of the Municipal Treasurer shall be responsible for the collection of taxes and fees and take charge of the treasury office and perform duties/functions as enumerated under the R.A. 7160

  1. Fill-up individual personal taxpayer's information
  2. Present the personal taxpayers Information to collectors and tellers
  3. Collectors/tellers prepares the document
  4. Client affix signature and right thumb print the document

For Corporation

Basic - 500.00
Additional Tax not exceeding 10,000.00 for the following:

  • Assessed Value of Real Property - 2.00 for every 5,000
  • Gross receipts derived of business during the preceding year - 2.00 for every 500.00

5. Payment of Real Property Tax
  1. Client present tax bill or latest official receipts to billing section
  2. Billing section prepares RPTOP ( Real Property Tax Order of Payment)
  3. Billing section issue RPTOP to collectors/tellers
  4. Collector/teller prepares and issue official receipts to client

Any of the following:

  • 10% discount for prompt payment
  • 15% discount for advance payment
  • penalty of 2%/month but not exceeding 72% for unpaid delinquent taxes
6. Requesting tax clearance (RPT)
  1. Client approaches the collector for the needed document
  2. Collector searches for the RPTAR ( Real Property Tax Record) of the client
  3. An employee incharge will prepare the document
  4. Municipal treasurer signs the document
  5. Collector/teller releases the document upon issuance of official receipts to the client

Needed information about the property such as:

  • Name of declared owner
  • Location area
