The Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of San Mateo donated 12 sack hangers for waste containment in support for the Ecological Solid Waste Management programs of the municipality.

An LGU Ally: The IWC officers formally handing-over their donated sack hangers to Mayor Ampie and Vice Noy.The IWC members led by its president Felma Labrador formally handed-over to the LGU the waste sack hangers last May 9,2011 during the flag raising ceremony.

Mayor Crispina R. Agcaoili expressed her thanks to the IWC of San Mateo for supporting RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act and similarly urged other NGOs to follow the cause of IWC as it sets a good example in sustaining the clean and green programs of the municipality.

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) was primarily tasked for the strategic placements of the sack hangers.

Some of the sack hangers were used during the Munggo Festival (May 16-18, 2011) while the rest were set up at strategic places in the municipal compound and community center to cater to publicly-disposed wastes during private and local government unit-hosted activities.
